About Men's Health Weekly

Who we are
Men's Health Weekly publishes practical guides on men's health questions.
How we source
- Drug facts (how a medication works, side effects, interactions) come from FDA-approved prescribing information on DailyMed, or from MedlinePlus at the U.S. National Library of Medicine.
- Clinical guidance comes from professional bodies such as the American Urological Association, The Menopause Society and the Endocrine Society.
- Research findings come from peer-reviewed studies, linked to their PubMed record.
Every factual medical claim carries a numbered footnote to its source. If we cannot source a claim, we do not make it.
Compounded medications
Some treatments we cover are compounded: prepared by a state-licensed pharmacy for an individual patient under a prescription. Compounded drugs are not FDA-approved and have not been reviewed by the FDA for safety, effectiveness or quality. We say this wherever a compounded product appears.
How we make money
This site has a financial relationship with Vea Health, a telehealth company. Some articles feature Vea Health products; those articles are labeled "Sponsored" at the top and say so again next to the product. All other articles contain no sponsored placements, and no advertiser reviews or approves what we write.
What we will not do
- Invent authors, reviewers, testimonials, ratings or comment counts.
- Promise that a treatment will work for you.
- Describe a compounded product as FDA-approved.
- Publish sponsored content without labeling it.
Not medical advice
We explain how treatments work and what the evidence says. A licensed clinician who knows your health history should make any decision about treatment.
